The name of the band is taken from the 1992 film “Singles”, which takes place in the city of Seattle, Washington, during the rise of what became known as the “Grunge” and alternative rock era. It’s a subtle nod to that specific period in time, which became one of the most important eras in the history of rock music and dominated not only MTV and the airwaves, but popular culture as well. SUPERTRAIN's goal is to recapture the fun of that era with engaging and high energy live performances that’ll make you want to grab your flannels & torn jeans to sing along with each song!
SUPERTRAIN’S set list consists of Nirvana, Gin Blossoms, 3rd Eye Blind, Eve6, Lit, Green Day, The Cure, Pearl Jam, Semisonic, Blur, Rage Against The Machine, and many more artists that dominated the radio from the 1990s through the early 2000s. Supertrain definitely brings the rock but also features Pop/R&B/Hip-Hop of the 90s and 2000s as well! These include hits from Bel Biv DeVoe, Naughty By Nature, House of Pain, Montell Jordan, and many, many more! There's truly something for everyone with Supertrain.
The line-up of the band consists of Bryan Ehrhart (vocals), Nick Giannetti (lead guitar/vocals), Lyle Kelch Jr. (rhythm guitar/vocals), Dan Taylor (bass), and Rob Levy (drums). All of the members of the band have decades of professional experience in various bands over the years.
SUPERTRAIN is all about fun and nostalgia, not only for those who grew up listening to these songs in the 90s, but also for those discovering this music for the very first time.
