My Cousins Girlfriend’s House
With soaring three-part harmonies, an infectious live energy, and a personality that speaks for itself, My Cousin’s Girlfriend’s House have cemented themselves as a uniquely powerful presence in the Philly scene.
Bridging the gap between Blink 182, Foo Fighters, Hot Mulligan, and Transit, the Philadelphia four-piece carries a nostalgically familiar yet innovative feel in their songs. Joining the team at Heading East Records, MCGH released their new EP “All For Love & All For Nothing” building on the band’s previous sound and energy.
Formed in 2020, My Cousin’s Girlfriend’s House is a pop-punk/alternative indie band based out of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Floorbird
Formed in the mid-pandemic fog of 2020, Floorbird lit up the Philly emo scene with their debut EP “Fall Apart Anywhere.” Handling all facets of their creative process in-house - including writing, recording, production and video - the band’s sound is defined by its rich arrangements, introspective lyrics and emotional delivery. Since that release, they’ve had no shortage of milestones - sharing stages with needtobreathe, American Authors, Lit, Neon Trees, Sister Hazel, Piebald and more.
Now, the Philadelphia quartet is back with their sophomore effort, “If You’re Still Around.” A leap ahead in their evolution, Floorbird embraces a more electric, pop-driven sound while leaving behind none of their emo foundations. Releasing September 15, 2023, this record is Floorbird at their very best - with no signs of stopping.
